Why We Built This

We've all been there. Standing on the ramp before a checkride, realizing you can't answer basic questions about the aircraft's maintenance status. Calling around to figure out if a flight school's airplane is legal to fly. That awkward moment when you have to ask a friend if their plane's annual is current—and they're not quite sure.

Or worse: the plane's at the shop for an unexpected repair, and the logbooks are locked in a safe 30 miles away. The maintenance is done, but the books cannot get signed. This is something we can fix.

We've felt every one of these frustrations. We've scrambled to get maintenance records to the right place at the right time. We've watched friends struggle with the same problems. And we've wondered: why are we still doing this with paper in 2025?

So we built Logbook. A digital maintenance logbook that lives in your pocket, syncs across devices, and gives you instant access to everything you need—whether you're preflighting at dawn, standing on the ramp during a checkride, or coordinating with mechanics across town.

Our Vision

We're focused on one thing: making aircraft maintenance records accessible, organized, and reliable. No bloat, no distractions—just tools that solve the problems pilots and mechanics face every day.

Our vision is to get Logbook into the hands of student pilots learning to check airworthiness, flying clubs managing shared aircraft, individual owners tired of paper, and mechanics who want to document their work properly. We're building for the aviation community—and we're listening.
